Newsmax has announced it has launched a new weekday news show on its Newsmax2 streaming platform featuring former EWTN host Tracy Sabol.
National Update, featuring Sabol, premiered on Wednesday. It will air from 11 AM to Noon ET on the streaming platform of the cable news network.
Sabol joins Newsmax after previously serving as the evening news anchor for EWTN News Nightly, based in Washington D.C. Before joining EWTN, she spent more than two decades working in local television and radio in locations like Atlanta, Philadelphia, and Portland, Maine.
“I am thrilled and honored to be joining Newsmax,” Sabol said. “I could not be more excited to be a part of one of the fastest-growing news organizations, bringing real news to Americans. There is no place that I would rather be.”
According to the network, Sabol’s National Update will feature “headlines that matter—fast, accurate, and in-depth.” It adds that Tracy Sabol will cover “politics, economy, culture, and global affairs with trusted analysis and real-time reporting from coast to coast and around the world.”

I miss Tracy on EWTN.. I’m sad to see her go. Marie
I miss her, too, Marie, but she will do a good job with Newsmax like she did with EWTN.
Why would an anchor with her level of professionalism, which she dispayed for years at EWTN, join a extreme-right, biased (here read, fake-news) outfit like NewsMax?
