“I’ve been shouting into microphones and TV cameras about these lazy politicians for years, but nothing’s changed,” said Kaye. “So I will go to Washington and shout at them from the House floor!”

He added that should Democrats win control of the House of Representatives during the midterm elections, Congress will need someone like him.

“If that happens,” says Kaye, “We’re going to need a loud, combative conservative to fight, fight, fight every single day. John Rutherford is not that guy. I am.”

Kaye previously hosted The Mark Kaye Show, which was heard on stations in Dayton and Tulsa, among others, and was based at 104.5 WOKV in Jacksonville. His program was later canceled by parent company Cox Media Group last year and replaced by The Erick Erickson Show in the 12-3 PM ET timeslot on Kaye’s affiliates.

After his departure, Kaye subsequently launched a daily podcast — Mark Kaye Saves the Republic — which also features a digital video simulcast. He also launched a daily show focused on the happenings inside the Donald Trump administration called The 47 Daily.
