After buying the 1270 AM signal from Cumulus, Radio One Buffalo is set to launch 1270 The Patriot in the city next month.
Beginning on Friday, July 4th, 1270 The Patriot will hit the airwaves in Buffalo.
The company, owned by Buddy Shula, is excited to launch into the conservative talk format.
“I am thrilled to be debuting a local talk station that deals with real issues,” said Shula. “I feel the conservative talk lane is open, and that will give listeners a choice of the type of talk that they really want to hear. The Patriot will cater to Republican and Conservative listeners of all ages, both locally and nationally, led by The Sean Hannity Show.”
The station will feature local programming hosted by New York Assemblyman David DiPietro. Additional shows will be hosted by Glenn Beck, Bill O’Reilly, Erick Erickson, Lars Larson, Charlie Kirk, Clay Travis and Buck Sexton, Jesse Kelly, Chris Plante, Michael DelGiorno, Vince Coglianese, Tony Katz, Ben Ferguson, and Ted Cruz.
“We are embracing the latest technology to ensure that everyone can hear the star-studded lineup of show hosts every day,” said Program Director Glenn Topolski. “The technology also includes all forms of social media, audio podcasting and video podcasting.”
Additionally, the station will utilize news updates from Townhall Media, and will also feature financial market reports from Bloomberg News and CNBC.
