620 WVMT has announced the appointment of Dan Feliciano as its new morning show host.
Feliciano will begin hosting the Burlington news/talk station’s morning show on Monday, June 30. He’ll step into the shoes vacated by Kurt Wright, who retired in May. Wright had been leading the program since 2019 with co-host Anthony Neri.
Dan Feliciano should be a familiar name to Vermont news/talk radio listeners. A Navy veteran, Feliciano ran for Governor of the Green Mountain State, as well as State Auditor, previously.
“Dan’s military background, natural curiosity, and analytical mindset, combined with his deep Vermont roots, make him perfectly suited for our morning drive programming,” said Program Director Kwame Dankwa. “His ability to facilitate honest, meaningful conversations will bring a fresh perspective to our listeners.”
Feliciano’s political background mirrors that of former host Kurt Wright. Wright had served as an elected official in multiple capacities — most notably as a member of the Burlington City Council and in the Vermont House of Representatives — before joining 620 WVMT as its morning host.
