Friday marked a milestone in the career of Fox News anchor Bill Hemmer. The date marked the 20th anniversary of his joining the cable news network.
Hemmer joined Fox News in 2005 after spending a decade at CNN.
Since joining the network, Bill Hemmer has been a founding co-anchor of America’s Newsroom, which he still anchors alongside Dana Perino. He also spent time anchoring Bill Hemmer Reports as part of the network’s afternoon lineup before returning to the program he hosts alongside Perino.
During the Fox News midday program on Friday, the network celebrated the anniversary, with Hemmer joking that he wanted his co-anchor to “get it over with,” asking for the spotlight to be placed anywhere other than on himself.
“It’s very cool to be a part of everything here,” Hemmer said while commemorating his anniversary on Friday. “And someone said you can’t just say ‘Hey, you love your colleagues.’ But I love my colleagues, and they make it worthwhile. And as I said yesterday, it’s the viewership too. So I mean it’s all it’s just a great, wonderful lucky combination Dana.”
The network shared a montage of personnel sharing their congratulations on the milestone, while also sharing their admiration for him both personally and professionally.

This guy should have been let go after the Arizona 2020 Election predicament. Guy will never live it down, no matter how serious they try to make him out to be. Amazing he’s still employed, (20 years???) but then again he may have been just carrying out orders from above, which makes him even worse as a “newsman”. I’m sure people love the guy but I haven’t found any. Family members constantly shout out to the TV, “are you calling Arizona early again Bill”?…Sorry, but not really.
🤣😂😅 Wonder how many more ‘inconsistencies’ there are from the 2020 election? 😂 It was the most amateur election in our history.
Hemmer isn’t the one who calls elections for Fox it’s someone else. I’ve seen him before but I can’t recall his name. Bill just reports it.
