Country Legends 97.1 Houston is making a move and taking on a new name.
The station will move to 92.9 HD2 and be rebranded as “Rodeo Radio.” The station, the sister of Urban One’s Country powerhouse 93Q, promises Classic Country with expanded offerings from artists ranging from the 1940s to the 1990s.
The station will also lean into Houston’s decades-long rodeo history.
In addition to being available over the air, the new station is also available on the iHeart and TuneIn apps.
