The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) has announced that McVay Media President Mike McVay has been honored with the 2025 NAB National Radio Award.
McVay will receive the award at the 2025 NAB Show New York during the Marconi Radio Awards. The Marconi Radio Award presentation will take place on October 21st at The Edison Ballroom on the eve of the NAB Show New York.
Before launching his own consulting firm, Mike McVay served as the Executive Vice President of Content and Programming for Cumulus Media and Westwood One. He has also worked in programming, management, and ownership roles in markets from Wheeling to Los Angeles, and many stops in between.

His ability to nurture talent and create programming that resonates with audiences makes him a most deserving recipient of this year’s National Radio Award.”
In addition to being honored with the 2025 National Radio Award by the NAB, Mike McVay is also waiting for induction in the National Radio Hall of Fame as a member of its Class of 2025. He was also honored as a Giant of Broadcasting by the Library of American Broadcasting Foundation in 2024, as well as earning a Leadership Award from the Broadcasters Foundation of America.
