Glenn Beck guest-hosted The Charlie Kirk Show on Wednesday, and had a special gift for the departed host’s family.
As Beck began the show, he shared his dealings and relationship with Kirk, before then sharing that he had brought an item to give to the host’s widow, Erika.
“It is Rush’s golden microphone,” said Beck. “I think it’s appropriate that it sits in front of Charlie’s microphone.“
Beck revealed that he was given the microphone by the widow of Limbaugh. He believed it was best if he had passed that gift on to Kirk’s family after he was assassinated during an event at Utah Valley University last week.
Beck continued by sharing the advice he would have given Kirk about the radio and broadcasting business, had he been given the opportunity.
“What I would have said to Charlie was ‘You were thinking too small.’ ‘I wanna be Rush Limbaugh someday.’ I’m a broadcaster, Rush was a broadcaster. But Charlie was a broadcaster and a narrowcaster.”
Glenn Beck was the latest in a line of high-profile guest hosts on The Charlie Kirk Show.
Earlier this week, Vice President JD Vance helmed the program. Ben Shapiro, Michael Knowles, and Matt Walsh hosted on Tuesday, with Beck taking Wednesday, and Megyn Kelly joining the show on Thursday.
