Newsmax has reported its third-quarter financial numbers, and the company saw an uptick in overall revenue during the period.
During July, August, and September, Newsmax reported a total of $45.3 million in overall revenue, representing a 4% year-over-year increase.
Broadcast revenue grew 10.1% compared to the same period in 2024, with $36.6 million being secured by the organization. Affiliate revenue grew 22.3% during the quarter, while subscription revenue remained relatively flat at $6.9 million.
Advertising revenue fell by 1.6% year-over-year. However, the company points toward a lack of political advertising as reason for the slight downturn.
“Our performance this quarter reflects the strength of our diversified revenue model, the growing reach of our cable and FAST channels, and the continued engagement of audiences across all of our platforms,” said Newsmax CEO Chris Ruddy. “Since going public, we have focused on building a company positioned for sustainable, long-term growth.
“Our strong balance sheet and access to the public markets give us the flexibility to invest strategically, expand our distribution, and continue delivering compelling content that resonates with viewers,” Ruddy added. “We remain focused on sustainable, long-term growth and on delivering consistent value for our shareholders.”
The company reported a net loss of $4.1 million during the quarter, down from the $9.8 million it lost in the same quarter in 2024. Its Adjusted EBITDA for the quarter was $1.8 million.
Newsmax also shared that it was adjusting its full-year revenue guidance from $180 million to $190 million.
