KNSS Morning Host Steve McIntosh Sets Retirement Date

Earlier this year, KNSS morning show co-host Steve McIntosh shared he planned to retire at the end of 2025. He has now set his final date with the Audacy Wichita brand.

Friday, December 12th, will mark McIntosh’s final show with the news/talk station. He originally joined the brand in 1998, where he has served in a variety of roles, including as Program Director and News Director in addition to his morning show role.

McIntosh has been paired with Ted Woodward for his entire run in the daypart. Earlier this year, the duo celebrated their 7,000th show together.

“Steve’s name is synonymous with Wichita radio,” said Senior Vice President and Market Manager Tommy Castor. “His leadership, integrity, and unmatched storytelling have shaped this station and enriched the lives of our listeners for more than half a century.”

Since being partnered 27 years ago, Steve McIntosh and Ted Woodward have combined to win a regional Edward R. Murrow Award and an NAB Marconi Radio Award.
