Several hosts across the Infinity Sports Network and BetMGM Network have begun informing listeners that their programs will end at the end of December, as Cumulus Media and Audacy prepare to transition to the launch of the new Westwood One Sports network at the start on December 29.
Audacy and Cumulus Media announced the merger of Infinity Sports Network and BetMGM Network in October. The announcement was an extension to the partnership between Audacy and Cumulus Media’s Westwood One, the sole distributor of both Audacy owned networks.
On the BetMGM Network, Bet Sweats hosts Joe Ostrowski and Sam Panayotovich were first to break news that their show will conclude. In October following the news, Ostrowski told listeners, “You’re wondering, what does that mean? It means the end of Bet Sweats. … We intend on being on the air for the next couple of months, that is the plan, plans do change. We were not the power brokers here.” He added that the abrupt nature of the transition has affected the team. “Our worlds have been turned upside down this week… we’re just communicating what is going on with the shows.”
Panayotovich echoed the sentiment, explaining the broader corporate dynamics behind the decision. “We mostly have been kind of walking on eggshells… This is how the corporate media world works,” he said. “This company merges with this company… but not everybody’s going to make it… when you have one network combining with a second network… not everybody’s going to have a slot.”
Cumulus Media has announced that two BetMGM Network programs will remain on the new Westwood One Sports network beginning at the end of the month. You Better You Bet with Nick Kostos will move from afternoon drive to late-mornings airing from 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. ET. Also BetMGM Tonight, hosted by Brad Evans and a to-be-named BetMGM Network host, will air from 6:00–11:00 p.m. ET. The BetMGM Network programming making the shift will continue to be produced by Audacy.
Several Infinity Sports Network talent have also begun making announcements their programs will be ending with the new network launch. Bill Reiter was among the first to address the changes on Reiter Than You. He told listeners that “there are going to be some general changes at the network as this year comes to a close. I can’t speak to and don’t know about all of those details, but I can tell you that my show will not be on the air starting in two weeks.”
Reiter added that his previously scheduled vacation means the final show will air Dec. 19.
“I’ve been doing this show, some version of a different time slots at what was CBS Sports Radio and is now the Infinity Sports Radio Network since 2017 and in a career that has been charmed beyond belief.” He then thanked the executives and producers who helped shape the program over the years. “I have nothing but gratitude and joy … for every person that has allowed me to do this show,” Reiter said, adding that he will “miss people, Chris Olivero and Mark Chernoff and Eric Spitz and Jeff Solano and David Marinick… and to those of you that have listened, thank you.”
Also, The Bart Winkler Show will sign off on December 18. Winkler told his audience via YouTube that “The Infinity Sports Network is changing, and that means that I will not be a part of the new network.” He addressed the uncertainty directly, saying, “It’s because I’ll be unemployed again. I’m getting laid off by the company that laid me off a few years ago. But that is radio, and that is life.”
Cumulus Media announced the hire of sports media personality Drake C. Toll on Wednesday. His program will air Monday through Friday from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m. on Westwood One Sports. Currently, the new lineup launching December 29 will feature Toll hosting solo in morning drive. His show will be followed by You Better You Bet with Nick Kostos will air from 9:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. ET, with Jim Rome anchoring the coveted 3:00–6:00 p.m. ET weekday slot. BetMGM Tonight, hosted by Brad Evans and a to-be-named BetMGM Network host, will air from 6:00–11:00 p.m. ET.
Sources have told Barrett Media that the 12pm-3pm weekday timeslot is currently being arranged. The hope is to officially secure talent in the next two weeks. Overnight programming and weekend programming is also being arranged as part of the Westwood One Sports roster.
There has been no official word on the futures of Infinity Sports Network talents Maggie Gray and Andrew Perloff, who have hosted together on the network since 2022. Also the futures afternoon drive host Zach Gelb, Sean Levine, and Pat Boyle are currently unknown. This also includes several staff with the BetMGM Network as well.
Cumulus is expected to unveil the full Westwood One Sports lineup in the coming weeks, marking a significant reshaping of the national sports audio landscape heading into 2026.

Cancelling Bart Winkler weeknights!!! I am/was a big fan of the weekday roster you had created with Rahmi, “Sparky”, Mason Crosby, John Kuhn and Bart. I’m also a big fan of radio in general and am very disappointed in this news. If you replace him with “betting buddies,” it’s a “bet” that I will not stay with you.
Cancelling Bart Winkler? Blue jays lose the World Series? A very bad year, indeed! Sad face 😔
Nor I.
Totally agree regarding Bart. Bart’s show was the perfect cap to the day
they cancelled the best sports radio show on the continent. winkler and Ortiz put a lot of work into their product and it showed. lost a listener today.
Disappointed to hear about Bart Winkler. Him and Karlos with a K were very entertaining.
BART and Ortiz with a k were the best thing on sports radio your messing with radio gold….f u wrstwood
I listen to 93.7 The Fan in Pittsburgh. There’s always internet radio of course, but the only terrestrial, national shows they broadcast normally begin at 11:00pm or later because of local programming. So, I can only speak of the national hosts who are on at that time and afterwards. That would mostly include Bart Winkler’s show, and Pay Boyle’s show, which ends at 5:00am for the start of 93.7’s local shows once again. In any case, I’m so sorry for those who will find themselves without jobs soon, and I wish them the very best in the future. I truly enjoyed listening to Winkler, Karlos and Boyle. I’m following all of them on Twitter to see what happens next. Sports betting seems to be the “black hole” swallowing up everything in it’s path. The rich get richer, everyone else disappears or gets left in the wake, including the consumers.
Amen and I will miss Jody Mac!
Sources tell me Perloff is out…
Maggie and Gelb are still in…
Most all of the part time hosts and producers at Infinity will be axed…
OMG does everything need to revolve around sport gambling as these changes seem to indicate? Winkler, Ortiz, Doyle and Jody Mac at night were entertaining. Maybe someone will pick them up so I can hear them again.
Maggie and Gelb are Out…
As are Perloff…the rest of the on air hosts…except Boyle….all the producers…etc. etc….
Maggie is terrific. Perloff tends to bully her.
Not even Maggie can be bullied by a poodle.
You corporate media honchos have your heads up your ass. Don’t understand the nature of the dedicated sports fan listener that appreciates the term of an easy listening experience with a great host and an audience. Go ahead and plug your time slots with two bit fast talking betting degenerates feeding the degenerate gambler. Your vision is not for long as the audience will leave you in the dark. Nothing is more profound than WFAN shaking up the daily shows that have great content and great hosts for the sake of promoting convicted criminal GRAIG CARTON another degenerate loser gambler who stole money from a charity to get his gambling fix. Sad too say all good things come to an end but bad things forever spin in the black hole of failure
This is going to be a costly mistake by the network. You already lost a fan favorite when Amy Lawrence departed. Now, Bart, Zach and others are gone. You just lost a listener. I hope for the best as the talent moves on.
Amy L show has got to the worst show since Jt Brick all she talked about herself the dog and husband. How she lasted so long amazed me with such limited knowledge or insights. Her audience must have been people who could not change channel. Awful voice and the laugh of hers horrifying.
Rich Lieberman Oakland CA.
I believe Amy L left the network almost a year ago
no sir. you’re focusing on a small percentage of her time.
I heard they are replacing Bart Winkler with the Bart-o-meter. Once again AI replacing hard working Americans who do a GREAT job and making truly entertaining content. A shame.
If it ain’t broke, break it. Very bad move. Best of luck to all of the talented hosts.
The only show that is good is Maggie and Perloff. The rest are very low talent and lucky to be on the air. And the schtick of Boyle screaming at the show opening is very cringe worth and not very professional. They should be grateful for having jobs. Rome’s schtick is so old.

Like Maggie very much. Perloff can go drive a cab.
I get it RIch. It’s one of those opposite posts. Well said.
Come on! Bart Winkler is the best. If you listen, he blends high-level sports knowledge with self-deprecating humor like no other host. I have two words for Westwood One; keep him. I’m just a fan but would have no hesitation doing a sponsorship deal with Bart.
I will not be listening to station anymore after cancelling the bart winkler show. It was the only show I cared to listen too on this station.
I hope they have the intelligence to keep Bart Winkler, I am a 24 hour sports radio listener and he stole me away from fox in that time slot. he is one of the best!!!
Bart Winkler. Excellent Show. Listen every night.
Why is it that when a network has great programming, shows with hosts that bring in listeners right and left, the powers that be at that network decide to pull the plug on what’s working and roll the dice of uncertainty? THE ALL MIGHTY DOLLAR REARS ITS UGLY HEAD ONCE AGAIN. Sad, really sad. Actually beyond sad, it’s stupid.
Cumulus has been ruining radio for 15 years now. Not surprised.
Jody Mac, JR Sport Brief, Zach Gelb and Bart Winkler are all good listens.
Shakeups in radio are pretty much the norm.
Best wishes to all those who are (as JR Sport Brief would say) getting the boot.
Dave Shepard has to go.
Actually…he’s one of the only good hosts they had…
No screaming. No drama..Talked sports…
Hopefully the new conglomerate finds a spot for Jody Mac on the weekends.
why cancel Bart and karlos with a k? this is stupid. man i can’t stand these dumb companies that don’t understand what good radio is. I hope their station goes straight to the bottom.
This new network is replacing knowledgeable sports broadcasters who know and report on sports in depth and facilitate great discussions with callers. Now for the most part we will get cheaper and mostly mindless betting shows. There is no radio sports person better than Jodie Mac, yet he gets the axe. This demonstrates that the new management cares little for the quality of the programs offered. Betting programs are cheaper and focus on winning bets, NOT sports. The thinking person’s sport network is dead. The betting network from Westwood one and Cumulus Media will offer listeners Superficial betting talk, which has little to do with In depth discussion of sports, or conversations with listeners. I will be forced to drop Audacy for iHeartRadio, and listen to other stations and networks that offer true sports programming with real listener participation. This change is all about money and greed. It is shameful and Disgusting. My guess is that it will fail within 5 years.
The cancelled hosts will probably be brought back after they complete “Wagertainment” re-education.
I’m sorry to see Bart Winkler, JR, and Jody Mac go. I hope Pat Boyle stays.
We don’t get Maggie & Perloff as the local station here in DC has “The Sports Junkies”. In their tune slot.
They also moved Infinity off of Sirius XM in the car so you have to listen via the app, I hope they move Westwood One to the regular Sirius XM channel car lineup.
Good point Ron….channel 375 The Sirius XM is next to go for me.
shephard absolutely should go as well as JR. The others leaving. Mistake, Big mistake, Huge!!
Actually…Shep was one of the only solid, sane voices on Infinity.
No screaming. No drama. Just solid, informative sports talk…
Long time listener, first time complainer… I’m really frustrated that Bart Winkler and Carlos Ortiz won’t be on my airwaves after next week. They are my favorite programming on the radio, period. I can’t imagine anything good coming out of this change. They need to offer a huge pay raise and beg them to come back to fill that slot. By the way, Sean Levine, JR, and Jody Mac should still be on the air too. I can’t imagine this change being for the better. My guess is it’s for the bettor, and that just ain’t me.
sounds really shitty
No more JR Sports Brief?!? He always got me through my evening drives when I do my rideshare gig, and he has good sports takes! This suuuuuucks! Hope to hear him somewhere else soon.
Bart is the only reason I turn my radio on.
Lost Amy . Lost Freddie Coleman on espn.
And now Bart and Jodie Mac.
Are any of the higher ups reading these?
JR, Bart and Jodie Mac always put me in a good mood, especially Bart. They were also really good with the callers, especially Jodie Mac. Thanks guys and best of luck!
Wtf the bart o meter has some of the greatest insight in world history, his dad corner segment inspired me to have a child unplanned and with a stranger, it’s a boy and I can’t wait to listen to wrestling music with him. And give him un supervised access to YouTube. Bart and Carlos /Karlos* will land on their feet. Please just podcast on YouTube or YouTube wherever we get our podcasts from. You can say cuss words and speak on adult content catered to dads and toddlers.
Amy Lawrence; gone … Bart Winkler; gone … David Shepard; gone … Carrington Harrison; gone … it’s radio, don’t expect any more out of it. LOVE radio, HATE when the powers-that-be start dumping their high quality on-air’s.
Bart Winkler had a great voice but knew very little about sports! What doomed his future was his man-love for Letard James! It demonstrated his lack of knowledge! David Sheppard knew more about all sports and history but was relegated to part time garbage time!
