For the first time since 2017, Bill O’Reilly will be behind the anchor chair for a cable news network next week.
On Wednesday, March 4th, O’Reilly will serve as the fill-in host for Chris Cuomo’s primetime show on NewsNation.
While appearing on Cuomo on Wednesday evening, Bill O’Reilly shared the news that he’ll step into the role for Chris Cuomo in one week. He said the format of the program will be familiar to viewers.
“I’m bringing back The O’Reilly Factor,” he shared. “I’m bringing it back a week from tonight. You can’t miss this. Wait until you see the cast that we’ve assembled.”
O’Reilly joked that Cuomo was “going to be jealous” about the performance of the program while the former Fox News host helmed the show.
The O’Reilly Factor was routinely the top-rated primetime cable news show during O’Reilly’s time with Fox News. He hosted the show from 1996 until his departure from the network in 2017.
The news of O’Reilly guest-hosting Cuomo comes weeks after he announced he would be away from his own show due to a medical issue. However, after a few days, that issue subsided and he was able to return to his digital program. He has served as a contributor to NewsNation, and makes a weekly appearance on Cuomo’s program.
