Audacy has added a familiar local voice to its sports betting lineup in Denver. The company announced that Nate Lundy will join The Bet 1430 for a new weekday program. His show, Mile High Sports, is scheduled to air from 2–4 p.m. MT.
The move gives the station a veteran presence with deep ties to the local market. Lundy brings more than three decades of experience in radio and television, including the past 16 years in Denver.
He currently serves as President and CEO of Mile High Sports, where he oversees coverage of the region’s major professional teams.
Mike Peterson, brand manager for The Bet 1430, said Lundy’s background made him a natural fit for the station’s evolving lineup.
“Nate’s encyclopedic sports knowledge and deep ties to the Denver community make him an incredible asset,” Peterson said. “We’re excited to see him engage our listeners and elevate the conversation on The Bet.”
Lundy expressed enthusiasm about returning to a daily on-air role while staying connected to the city he has covered extensively.
“I’ve spent more than 35 years in radio and television, the last 16 right here in Denver,” he said. “I am so happy to join Audacy as a local voice, and more importantly, as a local fan. This is going to be a fun ride.”
The addition of Mile High Sports fills a key afternoon slot and strengthens the station’s local programming presence. It also complements a schedule built around national betting-focused shows and evening coverage.
With the addition of Lundy, Audacy continues to blend national betting content with local voices in key markets. For Lundy, the opportunity marks both a continuation and an evolution of his career. He remains a prominent executive in the market, but now returns to a daily platform where his voice helped build a loyal following.
