Beasley Media Group is divesting two more radio stations. K-LOVE will soon take over both FM signals.
What We Know: Beasley Media Group has agreed to sell KISS 95.1 in Charlotte and X107.5 in Las Vegas to K-LOVE owner Educational Media Foundation. Following the transaction, KISS 95.1 will become a K-LOVE affiliate in Charlotte. However, the station’s popular morning show featuring Maney and LauRen won’t disappear. Instead, the duo will move to K104.7, allowing Beasley to retain the personalities within its Charlotte cluster. Meanwhile, X107.5 in Las Vegas will transition to KVGS-FM and assume the branding currently heard on Hot AC station 107.9 FM. As a result, the KXTE brand will continue on the new frequency while K-LOVE launches on the former X107.5 signal.
What They Said: “These transactions reflect our continued commitment to strategically managing our portfolio while preserving the outstanding local brands and personalities our audiences know and love. We’re excited that Charlotte listeners will continue to be able to be entertained by Maney and Lauren on 104.7 WKQC, and that our Las Vegas audience will continue to enjoy the KXTE brand on KVGS. We appreciate K-LOVE’s partnership throughout this process and look forward to a smooth transition.” – Beasley Media Group CEO Caroline Beasley
“We are honored to acquire these stations and welcome them into the K-LOVE family. Both signals have long histories of serving their communities, and we look forward to building on that legacy as we expand our mission of delivering uplifting, positive programming to listeners in Charlotte, Las Vegas, and the surrounding areas.” – K-LOVE CEO Thomas Stultz
What Remains Unclear: Neither company disclosed the financial terms of the transactions or provided expected closing dates. It’s also unclear when K-LOVE programming will debut on both signals or whether additional staffing changes will accompany the transitions.
What It Means: The sales continue Beasley Media Group’s effort to reshape its portfolio while keeping established local brands alive through strategic frequency moves. At the same time, K-LOVE expands its national footprint by adding two significant metropolitan signals. The Charlotte move preserves a successful morning franchise, while the Las Vegas transition keeps the KXTE identity intact despite the frequency change.
