Fox News is parting ways with Maria Bartiromo after more than 12 years with the company. The network announced the move on Thursday afternoon.
What We Know: Bartiromo has anchored multiple programs across Fox News Media, including Mornings with Maria on Fox Business Network. The morning program aired weekdays from 6-9 AM ET. She also hosted Maria Bartiromo’s Wall Street on Friday evenings from 7-7:30 PM ET. Meanwhile, her Fox News program Sunday Morning Futures will have a temporary change this weekend. Fox News will have Jason Chaffetz host Sunday Morning Futures this week. The network plans to announce a new permanent host at a later date. Bartiromo made her final appearance on Fox News on Sunday, August 9th.
What They Said: “We thank Maria for her work over the last 12 ½ years and wish her all the best on her next chapter.” -Fox News Media statement
What Remains Unclear: The network hasn’t identified who will permanently succeed her on Sunday Morning Futures. It is also unclear who will helm the newly rebranded Mornings with Fox Business in the interim as the network transitions away from Bartiromo.
What It Means: Bartiromo’s exit represents a significant change for Fox News Media’s business-news lineup. Her presence helped connect Fox Business Network’s financial coverage with Fox News’ political audience. Now, the company must determine how to replace a familiar face across multiple important time slots. For Bartiromo, the departure opens the door to a new chapter after more than a decade at Fox.

Maria was one of the Very best people on Fox. it’s about time she left that Network. They are not what they used to be and have gone downhill ever since they got TDS.
Gosh I hate to see her go. I made it a point to watch her every Sunday. Really liked the way she handled her segment.
I especially loved it when she would tell us how great the economy is and then read numbers showing how great the economy isn’t. such fearless reporting.

Me too, it was really the only program on Fox that I made it a point to watch. She seemed like a really hard worker and seemed very well respected in the political community. I’m hoping she’s leaving on her own terms but I’m really bummed about it.

Good for her. She was one of the last I enjoy watching on Fox. Makes sense though, Fox is becoming MSM trash like the rest.

Bartiromo was one of the only true professionals left at Fox News. Very sorry to see her go; it only degrades Fox further from the high quality news medium that it used to be.
It is possible she resigned to care for her elderly mother who she cares for and lives with her in her home. If she was fired as some people believe well Fox just created another firestorm. I for one won’t be watching any of the new host on Fox business. They don’t have the expertise nor the personality of Maria.

Saved me at least 15 hours of watching her show every week. Unfortunately she was the best of my TV watching time. Will go wherever she goes. She’s the best!
