Lotus Seattle has named Jeff Pohjola Director of News & Programming for Northwest Newsradio. The appointment comes as the station prepares for a new weekday programming lineup.
What We Know: Pohjola will oversee programming strategy and newsroom operations at Northwest Newsradio, effective immediately. He had served in the role on an interim basis for the past four months. Meanwhile, the station will end its midday all-news block and add Bloomberg Radio programming from 10 AM to Noon, followed by The Ramsey Show from Noon to 2 PM. Bloomberg’s Balance of Power will air at 10 AM, with Bloomberg Businessweek Daily following at 11 AM.
Additionally, Kevin Dodrill will expand his role with the station as Assistant Program Director. He’ll continue serving as Program Director of sister station 570 KVI.
