The Bret Mega Show Launches in Morning Drive on Star 94

"This marks an exciting new chapter for Star 94.”

Date:

The Bret Mega Show is launching on Star 94 in Atlanta as Bret Mega and Anna “AB” Bohlman relocate to Georgia. The move shifts the morning show from St. Louis as Audacy sells Y98 to Hoffmann Media Group.

What We Know: Mega and Bohlman will host The Bret Mega Show on Star 94, bringing the program to Atlanta’s morning radio market. The show previously aired on Y98 in St. Louis, where Audacy is selling the station to Hoffmann Media Group. Meanwhile, the program also airs on 99.7 The Point in Kansas City and 105.3 The Buzz in Wichita, where it runs from 2-6 PM. Previously, the show announced that Kevin Berghoff and Hannah Gibbs would remain in St. Louis following the relocation. However, promotional materials announcing the Atlanta launch don’t mention either co-host.

What They Said: “Bret and AB bring an authentic, high-energy connection to the airwaves every morning that listeners will instantly resonate with. I couldn’t be prouder of how The Bret Mega Show continues to evolve by bringing their big laughs and real talk to Atlanta mornings. This marks an exciting new chapter for Star 94.” -Star 94 Brand Manager JR Ammons

What Remains Unclear: Star 94’s promotional materials haven’t clarified whether Berghoff and Gibbs will continue contributing to the show from St. Louis. The station also hasn’t detailed whether the program’s format or lineup will change beyond Mega and Bohlman’s move to Atlanta.

What It Means: The move gives Star 94 a new morning show while allowing The Bret Mega Show to continue its presence in multiple markets. However, the lack of clarity surrounding Berghoff and Gibbs leaves questions about the program’s future lineup as it enters a new market.
