1210 WPHT afternoon host Rich Zeoli recently sat on a media panel to discuss the state of journalism in America and said both television and print publications need more investigative journalists and investigative journalism.
Friday during The Rich Zeoli Show, the host said “I think that too often a lot of the media — the corporate media, whatever you want to call it — they wind up telling people what they want to hear over and over and over again. They don’t challenge the audience at all. They don’t bother doing any investigative reporting in many instances. It’s almost like the same thing over and over again.”
“The biggest problem with corporate media is not always what they report and how they report, but what they don’t report,” Broad + Liberty CEO Terry Tracy added.
Zeoli lamented the lack of investigative reporters as we approach the midterm election, pointing out the recent revelations in regards to Hunter Biden should have been more widely reported in 2020 rather than 2022.
