Nationally syndicated hosts on the Salem Radio Network have voiced a series of PSAs urging listeners to share their support for the AM Radio for Every Vehicle Act with their members of Congress.
Hugh Hewitt, Mike Gallagher, Charlie Kirk, Sebastian Gorka, Dennis Prager, and Brandon Tatum have all lent their voices to the campaign.
In the PSAs, listeners are urged to share with their elected officials how AM Radio is important to their everyday lives.
The Senate Commerce Committee recently approved the legislation and pushed it to the full Senate for a vote. While Congress is currently in recess, NAB President/CEO Curtis LeGeyt has shared he believes the legislation will be voted on by this fall.
“This action is one way the 80-million people who depend on AM radio for news, critical weather updates and vigorous debate on issues can peacefully and patriotically approach their lawmakers directly to share their views,” said Salem Radio Network Vice President of News & Talk Programming Tom Tradup.
