The National Association of Broadcasters (NAB) has unveiled several new Executive Committee members after elections at the June board meeting.
The NAB Radio Board will have a new chair as Westwood One President and Cumulus Media Executive Vice President of Corporate Strategy and Development Collin Jones was elected to the position.
Kevin Perry, President and CEO of Perry Publishing and Broadcasting Company, was elected to serve as the first vice chair of the board, while Mel Wheeler Inc. President Leonard Wheeler was elected second vice chair.
Beasley Media Group Executive Vice President and General Counsel Chris Ornelas will serve as the radio board’s group representative on the NAB’s executive committee.
On the television side, Gray Television President and Co-CEO Pat LaPlatney was re-elected as the NAB television board chair. EVP and COO of TEGNA Lynn Beall (first vice chair), Sinclair President and CEO Chris Ripley (second vice chair) and VP and GM of American Spirit Media RaMona Alexander (third vice chair) will also serve the board in executive roles.
The elections took place during the NAB Board of Directors meeting that was held on Monday and Tuesday of this week.
