Jules Riley is heading to Atlanta. Cox Media Group has tapped her to lead programming and operations for three of its music stations in the market.
What We Know Riley transitions from her Director of Operations and Programming role in Jacksonville, where she spent the past six years with CMG. She will now oversee Classic Rock WSRV (97.1 The River), AC WSB-FM (B98.5), and Adult R&B WALR-FM (Kiss 104.1). Before joining CMG, she served as SVP/Programming for iHeartMedia St. Louis from 2016 to 2020.
What They Said Cox Atlanta VP/Market Manager David Abel offered high praise for the move. “Jules has achieved exceptional success throughout her career because she understands how to build strong brands, develop people, and lead high-performing teams,” said Abel. “Her strategic mindset, operational expertise, and passion for connecting with audiences make her the ideal choice for this important leadership role.”
What Remains Unclear No start date has been announced for Riley’s transition to the Atlanta market. Additionally, CMG has not yet named a replacement for her Jacksonville post. It is also unclear whether her oversight will expand beyond the three music stations.
What It Means Riley brings a deep and varied programming resume to a major CMG cluster. Her background spans Rock, AC, and R&B formats across markets including St. Louis, Phoenix, Philadelphia, and Wichita. That experience positions her well to strengthen three distinct brands under one strategic vision.
