What Remains Unclear: However, ESPN did not separate linear viewers from YouTube viewers in the total. As a result, it remains difficult to gauge how the TV-only audience moved overall. Meanwhile, ESPN has not addressed whether McAfee’s new Monday Night Football roles and Field Pass alt-cast boosted daytime interest.
What It Means: Ultimately, the numbers show McAfee’s daytime audience building steadily through football season. After a summer low of 383,000 viewers in June, the show has grown every month since its break. Consequently, McAfee enters November with real momentum. For ESPN, the growth validates its expanding investment in its noon-hour star.
