My shortwave radio introduced me to radio stations from around the world, and I started DXing distant AM stations. That's when the bug bit me hard. Radio

I got my start in radio at 19 in Northern California’s Bay Area. I was hungry to get into the business and, fortunately, had a great mentor at the start.

Hi, I’m Anne Vydra and I want to be the voice of your News/Talk Sports station. For real. I don’t have any on my roster!

I worked in nearly every department on the programming side. Morning producer/co-host, middays, nights, afternoons, MD/APD, and then into imaging and the off-air creative side of things. Still, today, it gives me a unique perspective as a voice-over guy.
