In Urban radio, we’ve experienced this all too often. If there’s a sales problem, some decision-makers believe that cutting the quality of content will somehow fix it.
"If it's just about the music and the music only, people can find that on YouTube or Spotify. If you're not impacting the soul of that listener, you're in trouble."
I think curated concept shows for those great 1990s and 2000s tracks that aren't in regular rotation would work. The same goes for a show spotlighting the 1970s and 1980s.
