President Joe Biden’s bicycle fall on Saturday during an outing flanked by Secret Service wasn’t fully covered by national media pundits because it occurred when most of them were off.
Former Olympian and reality TV star Caitlyn Jenner reacted to the incident on Monday with Fox News’ “Outnumbered.” Jenner said the media continue to handle Joe Biden with kid gloves with barely any attention paid to his mental acuity.
“Aren’t we kind of used to all of this? It’s been going on for the last ten, 20 years, and it’s only gotten worse,” said Jenner. “It’s not about that. It’s about his mental fitness, his mental energy. He just doesn’t have it.”
Meanwhile, Biden’s approval ratings are plummeting. According to a recent USA Today/Suffolk Poll, only 39% of Americans approve of the job Biden is doing as president. A stunning 47% “strongly” disapprove; just 16% “strongly” approve.
“And unfortunately, now he’s president where he’s in a position where he has tremendous influence. And yes, the media does ignore it. But at this point, we’re kind of used to it,” said Jenner.
“We just have to continue our fight. We cannot just let these things happen anymore. We have to continue to expose to the people exactly what the truth is,” she added.
