Jackson Michael and former NFL executive Upton Bell have a new show coming to SportsMap Radio. The Game Before the Money will premier on July 2.
The weekly hour-long show will combine history with headlines and try to give some perspective to current events in the world of football.
“This is a highly entertaining and informative program,” Gow Media CEO David Gow said in a press release. “Jackson and Upton are both amazing storytellers. This is a wonderful addition to our network.”
Jackson Michael is a veteran writer and podcaster specializing in football. Upton Bell worked for three Hall of Fame coaches during his time in the NFL. He is also the son of former commissioner Bert Bell.
“As one of the last people alive to see both the college and the pro game from the 1930s to today, I wanted to tell the stories with Michael that have never been told before as well why today’s game has become so wildly popular,” Bell added.
