MSNBC host Joe Scarborough believes if the Jan 6th Capitol rioters would have been predominately Black or Muslim, they would have “gunned down” by police.
According to Breitbart, “The Morning Joe” host believes the outcomes on that fateful day would’ve meant many more dead but “because they were white” they were allowed to congregate.
“Most of the people you see in these videos are white,” Scarborough said. “I said it did the day after — if these were black protesters, you better believe the cops would have been up there in a second.”
Scarborough doubled down on his assertion that if the Capitol rioters were Muslims, police would have been shooting into the crowd.
“There’s no doubt in my mind that these people were allowed to sit out there with Confederate flags, with Trump flags, and desecrate the cross of Jesus Christ because they were white. It’s that simple. It’s that simple,” he added.
