Rich Eisen addressed the story that he was “poised to hit free agency” by saying that he isn’t and that he signed
On Wednesday’s edition of The Rich Eisen Show, Eisen addressed the story that he didn’t want to address. He opened up by saying that he shares his life with the viewers but he doesn’t share his business. However, he has been inundated with messages responding to the host’s future. Eisen admitted that his contract with the NFL Network was up at the end of next month (August).
He then went on to say that he woke up and saw a story on July 20 from Front Office Sports that he’s “poised to hit free agency” from NFL Network.
“I agreed to terms with NFL Network on June 17,” he said into the camera. “If you’d of called me, I would of told you that. Nobody called me.”
Eisen then went on to say how much he loves working at the NFL Network and wants to work there “a really long time”.
Eisen then addressed the author of the story, “Hey, Mike McCarthy…you could call. Reach out.”
McCarthy responded via Twitter.
