Two well-known talk personalities are reacting to the changing agenda of certain groups pushing pronouns for individuals.
Syndicated radio host Joe Pags welcomed SiriusXM host Megyn Kelly to his show Thursday Pags talked about how difficult it is to follow along when human beings are defining themselves with pronouns.
“I wanted to talk about the word police because Demi Lovato announced that she once again is comfortable with being called her/she,” said Pags. “And it turns out that she just felt an equilibrium between her masculine and feminine sides last year, so she wasn’t sure which bathrooms to go in.”
Kelly told Pags that Lovato seems like a nice person but that she appears to be “deeply unwell and confused.”
“She seems upset, she’s had a lot of meltdowns and a lot of open mental health problems,” said Kelly.
Kelly added that she wasn’t surprised to hear Lovato was having difficulty deciding who or what to identify as but added that the recent news about her decision to change her pronouns back to she/her “underscores the danger of this pronoun game.”
“If you and I were sitting in Canada right now and we didn’t say she or her for Demi Lovato today, we could be in trouble, we could be breaking the law.”
