According to a report from Front Office Sports, DraftKings and Chief Media Officer Brian Angiolet are going their separate ways.
Angiolet was on the job for 18 months, which included DraftKings striking a deal with Meadowlark Media to distribute The Dan Le Batard Show with Stugotz. Le Batard, along with former ESPN President John Skipper, created Meadowlark Media after Le Batard’s ESPN departure in 2021. The relationship between the two entities has grown to see several other podcasts created including Basketball Illuminati, and Futbol with Grant Wahl, among others.
After spending 22 years with Verizon, Angiolet joined DraftKings to oversee the daily fantasy and sports betting company’s ascent in the sports media landscape.
DraftKings declined comment, per Front Office Sports.
