So much is changing at Amazon this year as the streaming giant becomes the exclusive home of Thursday Night Football. A lot was made of the network hiring Al Michaels and Kirk Herbstreit as the play-by-play team for the games, but hang on. What does that mean for Hannah Storm and Andrea Kremer?
Turns out they are not going anywhere. Amazon announced today that Storm and Kremer will return to Thursday Night Football for two games this season.
For the past four years, the duo provided an Amazon exclusive call of the Thursday night game that was shared with FOX. The new version will sound a little different. TNF with Storm & Kremer will feature more storytelling and interviews than time allows for in a typical game broadcast. Dates for the alternate feed will be announced later.
“I’m incredibly proud of the path Hannah and I have paved in our four years broadcasting games for Prime Video,” Kremer said in a press release. “Providing fans with truly unique insights into the game has always been our focus, and I’m excited to contribute to a new stream that will highlight our interviewing prowess and extensive knowledge of the NFL.”
Amazon takes over as the exclusive home of Thursday Night Football beginning September 15.
