Radio host Howie Carr said during his show Wednesday that the Washington Post embellished developments on former President Donald Trump.
On Tuesday, The Post reported that federal agents discovered a document describing a foreign government’s military defenses, including its nuclear capabilities, when they raided his Mar-a-Lago residence last month.
“They are making it out like this is a big development and MSNBC and CNN are all excited,” Carr said. “They’re breathless yet again.
Carr pointed out that the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) usually doesn’t comment on ongoing cases but when it comes to Trump, rules of anonymity don’t exist.
“So, you can put this crap out there and it can never be refuted,” said Carr. “It just sits out there like Trump calling the American dead losers. None of this stuff can ever be refuted.”
The Washington Post reported that some of the seized documents detail top-secret U.S. operations that require special clearances, not just top-secret clearance.
