Talk Radio 1210 WPHT host Rich Zeoli has hosted mornings on the station for more than three years, but that run came to an end Thursday morning as he prepares to transition to afternoons. Former sports talk host Nick Kayal will join the station for mornings beginning Monday, but first Zeoli had to bid farewell to his daypart.
“Nobody likes the last show, nobody likes the ending of a show ever,” Zeoli said. “No one is ever happy with the last show, so we didn’t even try. Nobody likes the last episode, so all I can say is thank you for listening to us for all these years. Thank you, we love you for it, and Dawn (Stenslund), I’ll miss you. Greg (Stocker), I’ll see you all the time, I’m sure, much to your chagrin. And I’ll see you Monday afternoon from 3:00-7:00 PM, we’re gonna have a great time.”
Stenslund and Stocker will remain in mornings when Kayal joins for Kayal and Company on Monday.
Zeoli announced his move to afternoons last week, pointing out he hasn’t been able to be as present in his children and his wife’s lives after making the switch to morning drive.

More people listen to radio during your new shift.
