Recently Drew Brees told the AP Pro Football Podcast that despite taking at least this year off from broadcasting any games, he was still open to the idea of doing an alternate-style broadcast if the opportunity arose.
According to Front Office Sports’ reporting, two network executives are not interested. FOS quotes one executive of a network with an NFL package as to saying “Hard pass.” Another executive with NFL games as well was quoted as to saying their interest level was at “none.”

Brees still has other options, however and was reportedly eyed for a quarterbacks-only type feed for Amazon to coincide with their Thursday Night Football games with the NFL.
