FOX Sports is launching a Saturday night college basketball schedule that will see marquee games air in primetime on the network for the first time. FOX Primetime Hoops will debut on Saturday, December 10th, as Arizona faces Indiana in the Las Vegas Clash.
The network currently owns a portion of college basketball rights for the Big East, Big Ten, Pac-12, and Mountain West. Next season, it will add the Big 12 to its growing portfolio.
Six women’s basketball games will also air on FOX throughout the college basketball season, a record for the network. South Carolina will face UConn in a rematch of last year’s National Championship Game on Sunday, February 5th.
Gus Johnson will serve as the lead play-by-play voice for the package, alongside Bill Raftery and Jim Jackson.
Between FOX, FS1, and FS2, the networks will carry nearly 300 games during the 2022-2023 season.
