The NFL will play its first ever game in Germany this week as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers face the Seattle Seahawks exclusively on NFL Network. The network has shared its NFL GameDay Morning crew will serve as the announcers for the broadcast.
Rich Eisen will serve as play-by-play announcer. He’ll be joined in the booth by Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner, Hall of Fame wide receiver Michael Irvin, and longtime NFL head coach Steve Mariucci. Sara Walsh and Jamie Erdahl will work the sidelines.
In September, Eisen revealed he would announce games for NFL Network, but wasn’t at liberty to say which games he had been assigned to. “I love calling games,” Eisen told Jimmy Traina on the SI Media Podcast. Nothing like being at the stadium, nothing like being involved with a broadcast. I just dig it.”
Coverage will begin at 7:00 AM with NFL GameDay Kickoff from Munich. Colleen Wolfe, Willie McGinest, and Joe Thomas will work the show on site from Allianz Arena in Munich. The group will also provide halftime and postgame coverage of the event.
