The Michael Kay Show Asks Trey Wingo About His Caesars Salary

The Michael Kay Show is celebrating its 20th anniversary and is welcoming its best guests to return to the airwaves throughout the month. Yesterday, former ESPN and current Caesers Sportsbook host Trey Wingo joined the program, and the show hounded him about how much money he makes from the company.

“This gentleman was one of our best guests, and then he decided to take the money and run,” Kay joked.

“And we need to know how much money he got,” Don La Greca said. “How much are you getting paid by Caesars?”

“Enough to buy all the gum in the world,” Wingo replied.

“Could you buy an MLS team?,” La Greca asked.

“No,” said Wingo succinctly.

Wingo was then asked if he made enough money to put together a group to purchase the Washington Commanders, which he replied Jay-Z and Jeff Bezos were already working on it.

“Well Michael said it was something outlandish and you were just swimming in money, and I was kind of curious to know exactly how much,” La Greca said.

“This is a guy that was born in a pool of money,” defended Kay. “He was born in Greenwich (Connecticut). His name is Treydavious (sic).”

“Alright, alright,” a dismissive Wingo replied.

The conversation took place after the show joked they should ambush Wingo by asking him how much he made from Caesars and if he didn’t answer the question, they would hang up on him for not telling the truth.
