October is widely regarded as the best sports month on the calendar. FOX Sports would likely agree after seeing several digital records set during the month.
For the first time, the network saw 1 billion monthly views across FOXSports.com and FOX Sports app.
The 2022 World Series between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Houston Astros was the most-streamed World Series on record for the network. On average, more than 232,000 streamed the six game series. The news that this was the most streamed World Series in history comes on the report from the network in September that the Alabama-Texas college football broadcast was it’s most streamed game to date. The network, however, did not reveal viewership totals of the stream for that game.
In addition to the streaming success of the World Series, the FOX Sports Podcast Network also saw record-high downloads in the month, with Undisputed with Skip and Shannon, Club Shay Shay, and The Joel Klatt Show: A CFB Podcast all setting new monthly records.
