Many in conservative media circles are lamenting the lack of coverage of the “Twitter Files” unearthed by Elon Musk and given to journalist Matt Taibbi, and 1210 WPHT morning host Nick Kayal says the “legacy media” has died, due to their “lack of journalistic integrity”.
“There was once a time the media was feared,” Kayal said. “Real journalists with a sole mission of fact-finding, breaking news, and giving the people the truth. The media and journalism is supposed to do what citizens don’t have access to. With tough, pertinent questions needing to be asked, the media is supposed to ask those questions to those who they cover, for those who can’t ask those questions to hose who should be held accountable to their constituents, customers, and fans.”
“We now have a media that slants part to the left. They put counter-agenda stories out there and put their slanted left-wing stories in a negative light on the backburner. Or they’ll just omit them entirely. The New York Times, Washington Post, CNN, ABC, NBC, or CBS, they’re all bought and paid for and they’re no longer true media reporters with journalistic integrity. Instead, they’re all a bunch of slappies that are all controlled by the government and big tech.”
