Jessamyn McIntyre has been named the Assistant Program Director of Sports Radio 93.3 KJR in Seattle.
“I am beyond thrilled to return to the work I’ve been so passionate about my entire career,” said McIntyre. “I couldn’t be more grateful for this opportunity and for the many more to come with the Seattle institution that is KJR. More than anything, I am excited to connect with the passionate sports fans in Seattle once again. See you soon.”
McIntyre joins KJR after a stint with the Washington State Department of Health, where she worked as the Executive Communications and Engagement Manager for the State Secretary of Health. Previously, she worked as a producer and on-air personality at Seattle Sports 710 and as an Executive Producer for FOX 13 after beginning her career at ESPN in Bristol.
“We couldn’t be more excited to have Jessamyn join our team and help our KJR sports platforms,” said iHeartMedia Seattle/Portland Senior Vice President of Programming Rich Moore. “Her tremendous experience and great knowledge of the market will help us grow even stronger.”
McIntyre steps into the role vacated when Kevin Shockey became the Program Director of Altitude Sports Radio in Denver in early October.
