Warner Bros. Discovery has really stepped up the promotion for season 2 of Game Theory. On Wednesday morning, host Bomani Jones appeared on NBC’s Late Night with Seth Meyers. On Thursday, the company will put the HBO show on another network.
Game Theory will air for the first time on basic cable this week. The premier episode of season 2, which aired on Friday on HBO and HBO Max, will re-air on TNT.
The episode, which features Jones’s take on LeBron James’s legacy of “player empowerment” in the NBA, will air ahead of the network’s NBA slate. Game Theory will be on at 6:30 PM Eastern. That will be followed by Inside the NBA, which leads into the 7:30 PM tipoff between the Knicks and Celtics.
