Deadly tornadoes ripped through the South and Midwest on Friday. The storms caused millions in damage and took the lives of 32 people. In Little Rock, AR, more than 90,000 people were left without power after fifty tornadoes devastated the state.
Three radio stations in Little Rock are partnering to raise money for those effected by the storm with a relief concert. Signal Media’s 103.7 The Buzz will join two iHeartMedia country stations to present the concert.
The show will feature five country artists that are connected to the state of Arkansas. Justin Moore, Collin Raye, Matt Stell, Heath Sanders, and Tyler Kinch are the headliners and will be joined by several special guests. The show is scheduled for April 12 at a venue called The Hall.
Moore is a co-host of Morning Mayhem on The Buzz.
“When it’s your community in need, you do whatever you can to help,” Miranda Hall, who manages the venue, said in a statement. “A benefit concert is something we know can raise a lot of funds for a lot of people who desperately need it.”
103.7 The Buzz is the dominant sports brand in Little Rock. With a local lineup throughout the entire day, the station provides a needed platform to give updates and promote the show. Tickets are on sale now.
