Prospective 2024 Republican presidential nominee Sen. Tim Scott (R-SC) will sit down with Fox News host Sean Hannity for town hall event.
The announcement was made by Scott’s campaign Thursday. It claimed Hannity would host the event with Scott in Myrtle Beach. Scott is one of two South Carolinians in the race. Former Governor Nikki Haley has also announced her presidential campaign, and participated in a town hall event with CNN last week.
“I’m excited to welcome my friend Sean Hannity to South Carolina for an important conversation about the future of our country, my campaign for president, and restoring faith in America,” Scott said.
It will be the second town hall event hosted by Hannity. He sat down with former President Donald Trump earlier this month. That pre-recorded event was broadcast at 9:00 PM ET. A scheduled date and time for the event was not provided by the Scott campaign.
Several prominent Republican candidates have sat down with CNN for town halls, including the aforementioned Trump and Haley, as well as former Vice President Mike Pence.
