Bill Handel: Donald Trump Lawsuit Against CNN A ‘Dud’

A federal lawsuit against CNN brought forth by Donald Trump has been dismissed. KFI-AM 640 host Bill Handel thought that was the logical conclusion.

During his program Monday morning, Handel called Trump “Mr. Litigation” before noting that the premise of the suit was disingenuous.

“He filed a lawsuit against CNN, comparing the phrase ‘The Big Lie’ somehow connected with Nazi Germany and Joseph Goebbels propaganda. Because the philosophy of Nazi Germany was ‘If you lie often enough, and long enough, people will believe it’,” said Handel. “Therefore, you call ‘the big lie’ or someone who refers to what CNN as ‘the big lie’ is connecting Nazism to in this case, Trump. The federal judge tossed it out. Goodbye. Dud…I don’t think he has won one lawsuit regarding the election.”

Handel argued that the original lawsuit wasn’t about malpractice from CNN as much as it was about Trump being overly litigious.

“He files lawsuits like crazy with the understanding that he has unlimited resources. And he can pay against you to death,” Handel continued. “I mean, he just goes on and on. You’re gonna see that with these indictments where lawsuit after lawsuit is being filed to at least delay all of them.”
