710 WOR host Mark Simone welcomed Clay Travis to the station Monday as the syndicated host prepares to embark on his nationwide book tour.
The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show airs daily on the New York news/talk station, and Travis was in the city as his first stop to promote American Playbook is tonight at a Northern New Jersey bookstore.
“I hope people will be able to come out. We’ll have a good time tonight,” Travis said before noting he’ll also appear in person on Hannity on Fox News this evening to promote the book.
“They got me scheduled for a busy night. But I can’t wait. I love to get out, take pictures, sign books, and hopefully get to meet people who enjoy the show. And certainly, enjoy your show as well,” Travis said of Simone.
Mark Simone joked to Travis that you know you’re a big deal when instead of an intern, 710 WOR Program Director Tom Cuddy was the person to go to the lobby to welcome the OutKick founder to the station and bring him to the studio before the interview.
After appearing on Simone’s show, Travis hosted The Clay Travis & Buck Sexton Show – which now features more than 500 affiliates — from the 710 WOR studios.
