Brent Musburger is coming back to TV. His VSiN show Brent Musburger’s Countdown to Kickoff, is joining the DraftKings Network lineup for the football season.
It is part of a slate of new shows announced for the FAST channel on Thursday. Programs from VSiN, Meadowlark Media, and DraftKings originals have been added.
“Since launching DraftKings Network in May, we have expanded our programming portfolio and enhanced our football offerings to satisfy the interests of our audience,” DraftKings Vice President of Content, Stacie McCollum, said in a press release. “The NFL season is the busiest time of year for sports betting, daily fantasy sports and this new lineup will further fuel our DraftKings customers’ passion for sports with 24/7 live and on-demand entertainment.”
Musburger is one of the pioneers of the pregame show format. He debuted on The NFL Today on CBS fifty years ago. With Countdown to Kickoff, he will focus on gambling insights ahead of each Sunday’s NFL slate.
VSiN launched in 2017 with Brent Musburger as its first high profile talent. It was launched by Musburger’s brother Todd and Todd’s son Brian. It was later acquired by DraftKings in 2021.
Other VSiN shows joining the DraftKings Network lineup for football season include The Lombardi Line with Michael Lombardi, Stormy Buonantony and Femi Abebefe and A Numbers Game with Gil Alexander.
DraftKings Network launched earlier this year. The content can be seen on Samsung TV Plus and at DraftKingsNetwork.com.
