Mina Kimes Joins Meadowlark Media, Signs Deal to Stay at ESPN

Mina Kimes is joining Meadowlark Media according to Kyle Koster of The Big Lead. Details are sparse at the moment, but Barrett Sports Media has confirmed that she will make weekly appearances on The Dan Le Batard Show.

Earlier this year, news broke that Kimes was set to hit the open market when her ESPN contract expires. Le Batard and The Ringer’s Bill Simmons both publicly expressed their intentions to hire her.

Meadowlark adds another high profile ESPN talent with strong ties to Le Batard. The company added Pablo Torre to its roster earlier this year. Both Kimes & Torre credit Le Batard for growing their profile at the network.

Additionally, Kimes is reportedly staying with the “Worldwide Leader,” inking a new contract with ESPN that will keep her role relatively the same. According to Andrew Marchand of the New York Post, the contract is expected to pay her slightly more than $1.7 million annually. Kimes has become an integral part of the network’s NFL coverage, serving as an analyst on NFL Lives and host of The Mina Kimes Show, a podcast within a partnership between ESPN and Omaha Productions.
