Chris Plante: Media ‘Disgrace Themselves’ By ‘Taking Marching Orders’ From Politicans

Syndicated radio host Chris Plante criticized the Biden administration for asking news outlets to look into the conduct of House Republicans after initiating an impeachment inquiry against President Joe Biden.

Plante shared his thoughts on X.

“Ian Sams sent a letter to all the news organizations,” said Plante. “Telling them that they should go after the Republicans because they are pursuing this demonstrably false effort, that’s the language he used.”

According to Plante, Ian Sams shared CNN and Politico links to demonstrate that the GOP’s move to start an impeachment inquiry into Biden was misguided.

“This is a fascinating development,” he said. “It does remind me of the old Benito Mussolini definition of fascism, which Benito defined as a merger of state and corporate power,” he said. “No corporate power is more powerful than the media.”

Plante emphasized that Sam’s letter is a clear demonstration of the power that the White House possesses.

“This puts right out in the light of day in the middle of the table, the collusion, the merger of state and corporate power that Mussolini was talking about,” he added. “And now the news media will have to disgrace themselves in going after the Republicans because now they have their marching orders.”
