Viewership for Saturday night’s Heisman Trophy ceremony on ESPN increased when compared to the previous three years.
2.308 million tuned in to see LSU quarterback Jayden Daniels win the Heisman. That audience was a 40% increase from last year when USC’s Caleb Williams won the award.
Last year’s ceremony was the least watched on record and excluded the 2020 presentation, which took place on a Tuesday night in January.

It was also the most-watched ceremony since 2019, when fellow LSU quarterback Joe Burrow won the award. Burrow was also credited with giving one of the best Heisman Trophy acceptance speeches of all time.
