The dynamic duo of Shannon Sharpe and Chad Johnson are adding a third musketeer to their late-night podcast: former Washington Wizards guard and Gil’s Arena host Gilbert Arenas. The show announced the move via its X account and says Arenas will start during the Dec. 13th edition of the program.
This won’t be Arenas’ first foray into digital media. Arenas is the host of Gil’s Arena, a daily web show where he discusses basketball with other former pros, as well as the FuboTV show No Chill with Gilbert Arenas.
Sharpe and Johnson started Nightcap in September as a partnership with Club Shay Shay Media, The Volume, and iHeartMedia Podcasts. It is in the style of a nightly recap of the sports day that was. Johnson and Sharpe debate the day’s most important sports topics, as well as discuss each other’s personal lives and other miscellaneous topics.
